Monticello`s Pizza in Brooksville

The pizza is really good, my wife and I we love the garlic nots and my daughter love their chicken strips. You can earn one stamp every time you visit them and when you make 12 stamps you get a free 18" one topping pizza I thinks this is pretty good not every restaurant does it so this is a plus. It's a family place. Try it you're self. I recommend it.

The BEST Italian Food within 10 miles. If you are really hungry, get the Calzone...it’s huge! They say it feeds 2 people but more like three or four. Everything is hand made and the sauce...perfect. You will be completely satisfied!

Yes they serve excellent food

I work in Gainesville and had to stay a few days at my mothers house to take care of her pets and my grandfather who is blind. When I arrived at her house at 7 he wanted good from this place. Which we have had numerous times. I placed our order and the gentleman said 45 mins. It’s now 8:40 and I’ve tried calling and calling with NO ANSWER and still no dinner. So now I’m making him soup out of a can and nothing for myself because I have to wake up at 4 am!! Not happy right now.

Called order in for a pick-up. It took 20 mins just to place the order. (Only 2 items). She asked me 3 times to repeat an item and 2 times for the other. Repeated it back to me twice. Kept me on hold the remainder of the time. Order was still wrong. Had to take the food back. This was not a difficult order. Steak & cheese sandwich and a calzone. Once the food was corrected it was good but a struggle to get the correct food. Between the aggravation and expense, I don't feel it's worth it.

My wife and I absolutely love this restaurant.The service has always been fantastic and the food has been amazing every single time. The portions are huge and the price is very reasonable. We recommend this to anybody and everybody. It is nice for a couple to go to, a family restaurant, or just for takeout food.

We ordered a large pizza took it home it looked awful then we took a slice out and it was cold and the pizza was hard . I Called them and they told me to bring it back for a new one . so I brought it back they gave me a new one it was hot but the cheese must not be a good brand because it was very chewy I won’t order from them again wasted my gas to get the new one when they should of delivered it to me . PS nobody in there wore a mask not even the waitress or the cooks or cashier

Just moved to the area and this is the only pizza place in the area, we figured it was gonna be terrible. It was awesome!! Pizza was really large and I personally feel their prices are competitive. Got some Jalapeño poppers that were really really good, and lasagna that was tasty and not bland! Hour and a half delivery was worth it, glad they are staying busy and OPEN! We’ll be ordering here very often.

We visited for lunch. They were 19 of us we had a reservation the food was very good the service was extremely poor I've been there many many times always enjoyed but would never returned with a large group

I know that this pandemic has been a damper for us all and people are just getting back in the swing of things again but that is no excuse to pay $50 and wait 2 hours for this . We even tipped. We have eaten at this place before and the food was excellent...this is not acceptable. Thinking about giving the opportunity to redeem themselves. Very disappointed.

Always a great experience dining in. Ordered delivery tonight. An hour and a half later (after I phoned again), pizza delivered. Cold pizza. Probably be the last time we order delivery . Sad.

I have eaten here many times and never had a complaint before but tonight the pizza crust was crunchy and the cheese and what little toppings were like rubber, will have to think twice before ordering to go, you don't know what you are getting until you get it home. 12/20/19

Food is good. Will never take that from them. Wish there was a different review for quality food and overall review. Quality was great. Service was a bit too professional and lacked any personality. Where we used to be treated like family, now same server would not have spoken but there were not any other servers there. Not truly excited about going back. Took me two years to try to get my husband to go back and now I'm the on not happy. Hope these reviews are read and not just a place for my opinion.

I have Monticello’s pizza and wings delivered every Friday. Food tastes great and staff are friendly. Some of the best pizza in Hernando County. I’ll be a lifelong customer.

I order from this place. I simply asked. Can you please cook the food good its my first time. I have worked in this industry for 38 years. And a executive chef pastry chef, food health inspector and a restaurant consultant. I was not impressed at all. I think they would need me to teach their staff about carrying and passion.

Pizza was good. I could have used a little note sauce on it though. Wingwere cooked well, but the sauce was only OK.

Amazing food, garlic knots are the bomb!

Good pizza. A little pricey. I wouldn't suggest ordering for delivery if you're in a hurry. Meatball sub is pretty good. We'll try it again.

It's a great place, dont get me wrong, but I honestly believe they should've taken time to renovate durring the pandemic. They need more room in their kitchen for a second/larger pizza oven which I think would drastically reduce wait times

Great friendly staff and great food. Open kitchen design so you can watch your pizza dough from toss to table. Waitresses are awesome with a great sense of humor. We frequent often and will continue to do so.

Best puzzaria in Tampa area by far

They have a nice assortment of deep fried appetizers and beer on tap. There pizza is really delicious!!! The pizza is worth the drive. BE WARNED: if you plan to dine in, be prepared to be cut off from the world LOL. Its a dead zone. No phone or wifi. But in my opinion its worth it for that pizza. They have an open kitchen so you can watch them throw the dough and make everything. I will be back

Friendly. Great food and quick service

Monticello's is easily the best pizza in the area in my opinion. I"ve been there twice and it's been consistently delicious each time. On my next visit I'll try the Stromboli and Steak and Cheese.

The taste was delicious but over half of calzone had no cheese or meat in it. Very disappointed since last week it was full almost to the end of dough.

Just moved to the area. Pretty simple local pizza place. Was skeptical to try because of the reviews of their service. We were greeted from the moment we walked in. All the staff seemed welcoming and friendly. The server was very pleasant and on top of it. Pizza was not exceptional, but just ok. I would definitely go back and try other items on the menu.

Great Italian cookin, will eat there when we come 200 miles for Webster flea market ,and Sumpter county swap meet.

Our favorite hometown pizzeria! My choices have never been disappointing, and my favorite item on the menu is the cannoli. Made with ricotta cheese mini chocolate chips and just the right amount of flavor. Great Greek salad and I can’t forget the best staff around.

Good food and nice place

Walked in and placed carryout order. Was quick and staff was friendly. No issues. Pizza is a bit bland but still good. Garlic knots were great.

If I could give them 10 stars I would. This is a great pizza place with delicious food. My family ate the pizza we ordered so fast, I thought they inhaled it. We'll definitely be back to try their other dishes. I can't wait to try their pasta, it looked scrumptious.

Just driving by on our way home from the beach stopped in to have a bite and it was the BEST pizza,wings and chesse sticks! My boyfriend is from new york and he said it reminds him of home. We will definitely be back and we live 30 mins away it was that good!!!!
